At Poppies we are open from 7.30 am to 5.30 pm Monday to Friday. We offer different sessions and can extend these to suit everyone:
No fees are charged for public holidays.
An income tested subsidy may be available to you by Work and Income New Zealand (WINZ). Please contact WINZ www.workingforfamilies.govt.nz for more information. We have application forms at the Poppies office or you can complete an online application. Please note that full fees are payable until Work and Income New Zealand approve your subsidy and when their subsidy stops.
We receive the WINZ subsidy after it is due. It will show on your child's account as soon as we receive their statement. If you have any queries about the WINZ subsidy or your childs account please contact us.
We offer the government subsidised 20 hours ECE where the first 20 hours are free for children three to five years. This is limited to six hours per day and 20 hours per week. You will be required to complete a "20 hours ECE Attestation Form", to confirm the number of hours that your child will attend and that you wish to be subsidised for.
We will provide you with forms to complete. Once completed, the first 20 hours are free. However, beyond 20 hours, fees will be charged for at the usual hourly or daily rate. For more information about the 20 Hours ECE see www.minedu.govt.nz.
